Delete your account
Last updated: September 29, 2026
You can delete your Blue Hour account and the data linked to it at any time — in the app, or by writing to us if you no longer have the app. Either way, your access ends at once and your data is erased within 30 days, as described in the Privacy Policy.
1. Delete it in the app
Open Blue Hour, go to the Profile tab and tap Delete account, then confirm. Your access ends immediately.
2. Ask us to delete it without the app
Write to hello@bluehour.events with the subject “Delete my Blue Hour account”. Send it from the email address linked to your account — that is how we know the request is yours. If you signed in with Apple and chose to hide your email, tell us the privaterelay.appleid.com address Apple created for Blue Hour.
We confirm by reply and delete the account within 30 days. If we cannot match the request to an account, we will ask you for more detail rather than delete the wrong one.
3. What is deleted
- Your account identifiers, your name and your email.
- The photos and video circles you took, removed from storage.
- Your name on the films you hosted, and the covers you set for them.
- The social links on your profile.
- The device keys that signed you in, and your notification tokens.
4. What is kept
Films you hosted stay with their guests. The photos your guests took are their data, not yours, so their shots remain in the film for them. Only your name and your own photos are removed.
Purchase records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires, typically several years, and then deleted.
5. Changing your mind
If you sign in again within the 30 days, the deletion is cancelled and your account is restored. After 30 days it cannot be recovered.
6. If you were a guest
Guests do not have an account. To remove yourself from a film, open it and choose Leave film. To have a photo you took removed, or if you no longer have access to the film, write to hello@bluehour.events with the film’s invitation link and the name you joined under.
