FAQ

Short answers to what people ask before their first film.
1. How do I start?
Get the app, sign in with Apple, and create a film: give it a name, pick when shooting ends and when the photos reveal, choose a look. Creating a film is free; if you want more guests or shots than the free capacity, the price is shown before you confirm.
2. How do guests join?
Share the link or show the QR code from the film. Guests tap it, type their name, and they are in — no account, no download required. They can shoot from the app or straight from the browser on their phone.
3. When do we see the photos?
When the host decided: as they are taken, when shooting ends, a few hours after, or at a chosen moment. Until then the film is sealed — everyone sees only their own shots. The reveal is the same moment for everyone.
4. Can I use photos from my library?
No. Every photo in a film is taken in the moment, through the film’s look. That is the point: a shared camera, not a shared folder.
5. How do I pay, and can I get a refund?
Creating a film is free. You pay only for capacity — more guest seats or more shots — as a one-time purchase through the App Store; nothing renews and there is no subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple under its terms; we cannot issue them ourselves — here is how to ask Apple.
6. Can I remove a guest or a photo?
A host can remove any guest or any photo from their film. Every guest can delete a photo they took. Once shooting ends, the film keeps its photos for as long as the host keeps the film.
7. What happens if I delete my account?
Your data is erased within 30 days. Photos you took are deleted, and films you hosted stay with their guests with your name removed. Sign in again before then to cancel. Questions: hello@bluehour.events.
