Purchase Terms

Last updated: September 6, 2026

These Purchase Terms explain what you buy in Blue Hour, how you pay, and how refunds work. They are part of the Terms of Use. In short: every purchase is a one-time purchase through Apple’s App Store, nothing renews, and refunds are handled by Apple.

1. What you buy

Blue Hour sells capacity for films: the number of guests who may join and the number of shots each guest may take. You choose the capacity when you create a film, and you may upgrade a live film while it is running. Each purchase applies to one film.

Creating a film is free and includes a starting capacity. The app shows clearly whether the capacity you chose is free or paid, and the price, before you confirm.

2. No subscriptions, no trials

There are no subscriptions, free trials or recurring charges in Blue Hour. A purchase is charged once. Nothing renews, and there is nothing to cancel afterwards. If we ever offer a subscription, its terms will be shown to you before you buy it and this page will say so.

3. Price and payment

Prices are shown in the App Store’s purchase sheet before you confirm, in your local currency and including applicable taxes. By confirming the purchase — by tapping, with Face ID or Touch ID, or with your Apple account password — you authorise Apple to charge the payment method on your Apple account. We never receive your card details.

Apple sends you a receipt by email and keeps your purchase history in your Apple account settings. Prices for future purchases may change at any time; a change never affects a purchase you have already made.

4. How a purchase is used

A purchase is consumed the moment it is applied to a film. Capacity belongs to that film: it cannot be moved to another film, split between films, or exchanged for cash or credit. Capacity that a film does not use up — for example shots that guests did not take — is not refunded.

5. Refunds

Purchases made through the App Store are subject to Apple’s refund policies. We cannot issue refunds ourselves. If you believe you are eligible for a refund, request it directly from Apple by following Apple’s instructions. Apple decides on the request under its own terms.

If you are a consumer in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, your statutory right of withdrawal for digital content bought through the App Store is exercised with Apple. By buying capacity for a live film you request immediate supply and acknowledge that, where the law so provides, you lose the right of withdrawal once the purchase is applied. Nothing here limits rights under mandatory consumer law.

If a payment is reversed or charged back, we may remove the capacity it paid for from the film.

6. Changes

We may change prices and the capacity options we offer from time to time. Changes are shown in the app and in the App Store before you buy and apply only to new purchases.

7. Questions

If anything about a purchase is unclear, write to hello@bluehour.events before you buy. Any translation of these Purchase Terms is provided for convenience only; the English version at bluehour.events/purchases prevails.
